Cookies and local storage

Everything this site stores in your browser, what each item is for, and how long it stays. Nothing here is guesswork – the list is taken from the code that sets it.

In short

We set no advertising cookies and no cross-site trackers. Most of what we store keeps the site working: your language, which city you are looking at, and your session if you are signed in. Two items remember where you are so the map opens somewhere useful. One item is analytics, and it is only ever set after you accept it.

Local storage

Local storage is not a cookie, but the law treats it the same way, so it is listed here. These stay until you clear your browser data.

Your choices

Analytics is off until you accept it, and accepting is not required to use anything. Withdrawing is the same size of decision as accepting: we delete the stored choice rather than record a refusal, so the banner comes back and you can decide again.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you delete the necessary ones, the site will ask for your language and your city again, and sign you out.
