Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation

OULY City is a public map of what people wish their street could become. It is not a place for children to be contacted, and it is never a place for material that abuses them. This page is our published standard: what we forbid, what we do to prevent it, and what happens when someone reports it.

What is absolutely forbidden

We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in every form. This is not a matter of tone or taste – it is a hard line, and breaking it ends the account permanently on the first occurrence. Specifically, the following are banned from OULY City:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) – any depiction, real, drawn, edited or AI-generated, of a minor in a sexual context.
  • Sexualising a minor in any way, including text, captions, prompts given to our AI, or a generated image.
  • Grooming – contacting, befriending or manipulating a minor for sexual purposes.
  • Sextortion – threatening to share intimate material of a minor.
  • Trafficking of a minor, or advertising, soliciting or facilitating any of the above.

This applies to everything a person can put into OULY City: the photo, the spoken description, the text of a vision, and anything they ask our AI to generate.

Who may use OULY City

OULY City is for people aged 16 and over. It is not designed for children, not marketed to them, and carries no content intended for them. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we close it and delete the data associated with it.

If you believe a child is using the app, write to us and we will act on it.

How the product itself limits the risk

The strongest child-safety measure is a product that gives an abuser nowhere to work. OULY City is built so that the usual pathways simply do not exist:

  • There is no private messaging. People cannot write to each other at all – no direct messages, no chat, no comments. The in-app conversation is with an AI assistant and never connects two people.
  • There are no profiles to browse, no follower lists, and no way to search for a person.
  • Photos can only be taken with the live camera at the moment of posting. The app cannot read the photo gallery, so existing images cannot be uploaded.
  • Everything published is public and tied to a place on the map. Nothing happens in private.
  • Publishing is limited to the city boundary, verified by GPS at the moment of posting.

How we detect it

Every photo and every piece of text goes through automated moderation before it is published, and every AI-generated image is checked again before it is shown. Anything flagged as sexual content involving minors is blocked and never reaches the map.

Automated checks are not enough on their own, so they are backed by people: every published vision can be reported from inside the app, and reports go to a moderator who reviews them. Decisions about removals are made by a person, not by a machine.

How to report a child safety concern

If you see anything on OULY City that endangers a child, report it immediately. You do not need an account to write to us, and you do not have to be the person affected.

  • In the app: open the vision, tap Report, choose a reason, and submit. Child safety reports go to the front of the queue.
  • By email: write to the address at the bottom of this page. Include a link or a description of where you saw it.

Reports that concern a child are treated as the highest priority we have and are looked at ahead of everything else.

What happens when CSAM is found

When we confirm child sexual abuse material, we act in this order and we do not wait for anyone to ask:

  • We remove the content from the map immediately.
  • We terminate the account permanently and bar the person from creating another.
  • We preserve the material and the account records for law enforcement rather than simply deleting them.
  • We report the case to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline, and to the Police Force of the Slovak Republic.

We comply with the child protection laws that apply to us, including Slovak law and the EU Digital Services Act, and we cooperate with lawful requests from the competent authorities.
